Ella Chesta-Carty, a freshman from Antibes, France, hit the game-winning shot on Valentine's Day to give the Cougars the 83-80 road win over Southeast. Ella finished the game with 23 points to lead the team, and it was a big lift for Ella, who in the previous two games combined for just seven points. Ella made just one 3-pointer in the game and it was the one that mattered the most. Ella had scored in double figures in all the games this season except for the games on Feb. 5 and 11. Ella is averaging 15.5 points and 2.7 rebounds a game. She has made 37 3-pointers this season so far.
