Ruth Lively, a freshman from Scottsbluff, was recognized along with sophomore Zo Sipolina on Wednesday against McCook as the two graduating players from this year's team. Ruth played just one year at WNCC and will graduate in May, and she said she is transferring to UNK. Ruth got the start in her last regular-season game at Cougar Palace. WNCC head coach Ryan Davis described Ruth as a dedicated player who earned the honor of team captain this season. Ruth saw action in 17 games this season and her high game was five points against Laramie County and five rebounds against Gillette College that also included hitting a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
