Tina Horton, a sophomore from New South Wales, Australia, had a strong weekend with two walk-off hits while going 8-of-12 from the plate as the Cougars defeated Miles three of four games. In the 9-1 win on Saturday, Tina went 3-for-4 with a triple and home run and the triple was the walk-off hit that scoring the game-ending run. Then, on Sunday, in an 11-3 win, the Cougars led 7-3 and loaded the bases with two outs. Tina took the first pitch and sent it over the fence for a grand slam, ending the game on the 8-run rule. She was 3-for-4 in that game with four runs scored and four RBIs.
