Nayeli enters her first year as the Inerim headt coach at WNCC after being an assistant coach for the past two seasons at different colleges, including assistant coach last year at WNCC. Nayeli comes from Los Angeles, California. She played junior college softball at El Paso Community College and then at the University of Texas-Permian Basin. She was an assistant coach at Lamar Community College and also Seward County Community College before coming to WNCC this year. In junior college, she was an All-Defensive Player of the Year in her freshman and sophomore seasos. In high school, she was a First Team All-Conference her junior year and was a senior year all-star selection.
