Santanna returns for her second year. Last season, after taking a year off of playing after high school, Santanna appeared in 67 sets and was a big contributor late in the season. Santanna finished the year with 77 kills, 17 blocks, and 35 digs. In high school, Santanna was one of Gering's multi-talented stars, playing volleyball, basketball, and running track. Santanna also played on the West Nebraska All-star Volleyball game and was a member of the Panhandle Prep all-star basketball game.
